Because we realize you don’t feel well, are anxious, or in pain, we want to help set the tone for your visit. We will strive to make your time in Admissions and overall visit to our hospital as seamless and pleasant as possible. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that will assist you:

What are the hours and location for Patient Registration?
  • Concierge Services (located at the main entrance) at 5700 E. Highway 90, is available from 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This is where you will begin your check-in process. Please call 520.263.2005 for more information.
  • Our Emergency Department has a separate entrance and ambulance bay. With 21 exam rooms and two trauma suites, we are here for your health and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Our main Lobby is open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • The Lenio Avenue Outpatient Services, located at 210 El Camino Real, is open Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for lab tests. Please call 520.263.3429 for more information.
  • Outpatient Surgery Center, located at 5700 E. Highway 90, is open Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please call 520.263.3900 Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm or on Fridays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm for more information.
Why do I get asked the same questions each time I come to the hospital?

Information such as name, address, and insurance may change so we need to make sure that your information is correct and current. Having this information entered correctly, ensures your tests, billing, and insurance payments will be processed in the most expedient manner.

Why am I being asked to pay?

Collecting your co-payment or making arrangements for your payment at the time services are rendered ensures that the co-payment your insurance company requires is already taken care of, reduces billing costs, and honors our contracts with insurance companies. For your payment convenience, we have a secure drop box located in the parking lot on the east side of our main entrance.

Why am I receiving separate bills for the same service?

Sometimes you may receive separate bills from other services during your hospital visit. These additional bills may include radiologist readings, emergency physician, and anesthesiology. We are happy to help you at any time to determine why you are receiving additional bills. We ask that you review the bill to see where it is coming from prior to calling us.

Why must I complete the Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire every time I come into the hospital?

Medicare requires this questionnaire to be completed every time a Medicare recipient seeks medical services. This helps them determine whether they may seek repayment for services from another source.

What documents do I need to bring when I come in?

So as not to delay you in processing, we ask that you bring:

  • Picture/Military ID
  • Insurance card
  • Physicians orders/prescription/tests/referral
  • Know your current personal information (address, phone number, etc)
  • Bring your co-pay or deductible
  • Know patient information if different from primary insurance card holder
  • Know your primary care physician information (name, address, phone number, etc)
