Physician Practices to Unveil New Identity, Reflecting Affiliation with Canyon Vista Medical Center

Canyon Vista Medical Center (CVMC) has announced that the physician practices employed by the hospital will feature names highlighting the practices’ connection to the hospital. The change will become effective May 1st 2026.
Physicians and staff providing care in 11 practices known collectively as Sierra Vista Medical Group have been employed by CVMC. Renaming these physician practices strengthens the connection of the practices to the hospital, which have served the region for over 75 years. May 1st, all practices employed by CVMC will be part of Canyon Vista Medical Group.
“Only the practice names are changing. Patients will receive the same high-quality care as always, with the same physicians and staff and in the same locations,” said Scott Avery, CEO of Canyon Vista Medical Center. “The new names reflect our commitment to provide our patients continuity and coordination of care by highlighting a clear connection between the physician practices and the hospital. We’re pleased to share this new identity structure with our community.”
The names of the Canyon Vista Medical Group practices, all with locations in Sierra Vista, AZ will change as follows:
- Canyon Vista Cardiology (5750 E Hwy 90, Ste 200)
- Canyon Vista Family Medicine (210 El Camino Real)
- Canyon Vista Gastroenterology (75 Colonia de Salud, Ste 100B)
- Canyon Vista General Surgery (75 Colonia de Salud, Ste 100C)
- Canyon Vista Internal Medicine (5750 E Hwy 90, Ste 200)
- Canyon Vista Neurology (5750 E Hwy 90, Ste 200)
- Canyon Vista Obstetrics & Gynecology (5750 E Hwy 90, Ste 300)
- Canyon Vista Orthopedics (5750 E Hwy 90, Ste 200)
- Canyon Vista Pediatrics (5750 E Hwy 90, Ste 375)
- Canyon Vista Podiatry (5750 E Hwy 90, Ste 200)
