CVMC Announces Addition of Cassandra Taylor, FNP to Gastroenterology Team

Canyon Vista Medical Center (CVMC) is pleased to announce that Cassandra Taylor, FNP, joined Canyon Vista Medical Group – Gastroenterology in March. Cassandra is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 18 years of nursing experience, including over a decade as a practicing FNP in a variety of clinical settings. She is seeing patients for a range of digestive health conditions.
Cassandra earned her Post-Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Northern Arizona University, along with a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She began her nursing career after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Cochise College. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds active licensure as a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner in Arizona.
Cassandra brings extensive experience in gastroenterology, having previously served as a Family Nurse Practitioner in gastroenterology with Baylor Scott & White Health and Cochise Digestive Health Center. In these roles, she diagnosed and treated a wide range of digestive disorders, including a focus on inflammatory bowel disease, while providing patient education and coordinating comprehensive care plans. Her background also includes experience in primary care, military health, hospice care, and medical education, contributing to a well-rounded and patient-centered approach.
