CVMC Welcomes Dr. Nathan Ptak

Canyon Vista Medical Center welcomes the addition of Nathaniel Ptak, DPM, to its orthopedic team. Dr. Ptak brings a remarkable level of expertise and a deep commitment to patient care, making him an excellent resource within the Cochise County community.
Dr. Ptak has a strong educational foundation, beginning with his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Benedictine College. He earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. Following his formal education, Dr. Ptak completed a three-year surgical residency at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. To further enhance his surgical skills, he completed a year-long fellowship at the Southeast Permanente Foot and Ankle Trauma and Reconstructive Surgical Fellowship in Atlanta, GA where he treated high-level foot and ankle trauma as well as complex elective surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle.
With his training and background, Dr. Ptak offers a wide range of services, both surgical and non-surgical, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the foot and ankle such as sprains of the foot and ankle, fractures, arthritis, tendinitis, sports injuries, and performing minimally invasive foot surgeries. Whether addressing routine foot care or more complex podiatric issues, Dr. Ptak is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of his patients through personalized, high-quality care.
